![]() ![]() It doesn't seem like overwatch 2 really does much more than 1, it seems like they are basically just taking the original overwatch and making a more PvE focused side of it and calling it overwatch 2. However there very well could be a big difference between overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 and that is the general upgrades, in particular the engines, that each uses. ![]() ![]() ![]() So they are just a bunch of madlad jackasses at the same time. They literally tweeted a gif of them turning a Diablo light switch on and off and said out right they had no plans for Diablo on switch when responding to it. Promising a switch port then not delivering or delaying it out after launch could be another issue to pile on. They need to make the right moves, not risky ones. So this might be a way of Blizzard not making a promise until they see it working to the level of polish that D3 on switch already is.Īs a company they understand how crucial it is for this launch to go smoothly with everything surrounding not only the Diablo franchise, but the company as a whole. We might need to wait a bit for a switch port for it, but another thing someone brought up was the idea that even the devs of The Outer World's didn't know they'd be making a switch port until a few months before they did. Something to consider is that it won't be there for LAUNCH. Diablo 3 sold very well on switch and could be a good avenue for them to pursue. Not once has switch been talked about at all. ![]()
